Film!CanaryIslands is a full Service Production Company working across the 7 Canary Islands - Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, El Hierro & La Gomera - so whether you need just a bi-lingual driver/fixer for a documentary shoot, or the complete production management of a TV commercial or movie, we have the experience and the local knowledge to get things done.

Location Services

We have a database of more than 12,000 location "reference" pictures and we are always happy to search for and email out potential location suggestions. We offer this as a free service to help production companies "pitch" ideas to their clients. Once the location is chosen we can then make an up-to-date recce and apply to the owners or local authorities for permission and negotiate location fees.

Casting

Due to the enormous international tourism industry in the Canary Islands, there is a large pool of professional & semi-professional actors, models, musicians and entertainers available for film & TV shooting. The Canary Islands are a melting pot of people from many different nationalities, so it is easy to cast northern & southern Europeans, Hispanics, Asians and Africans. We can arrange for photo or video casting sessions, attended by you, or we can send the material by FTP, so you can make decisions before arriving in the Canary Islands.

Crewing

The Canary Islands has a well established local film & TV industry but has also been used as a location by many companies from around the world, and as a result we have a very experienced, multi-lingual crew base, who are used to working on high-end, international films, commercials and music videos.
Our pool of freelance staff include; electricians, grips, sound recordists, boom-swingers, art department assistants, set builders, hair & make-up, camera assistants, focus pullers, runners, drivers, riggers and production staff. You may wish to just bring your heads of department and hire local freelance staff to support them.

Set Design & Props

Over the years we have developed a unique network of collectors and enthusiasts into everything from Harley Davidsons to Antique radios. We (and our clients) are constantly amazed at what can be uncovered when we set about searching for props. For the simple stuff we can always "pop" round to our local Ikea or DIY super-store. There are many exotic animal parks on the islands and we have sourced everything from monkeys to 12 foot pythons! If its on your list and in the Canary Islands, we have the contacts and experience to find it for you. We also work with experienced set construction staff and can arrange for just about anything to be designed, built and installed.
